Rahul is a health-tech optimist, serial entrepreneur, and biomedical engineer. He is the Founder & CEO of Envision – a B2B marketplace for mobile diagnostics and care essentials. Rahul was the director and founding member of EyeNetra – an MIT Media Lab spinout recognized worldwide for pioneering smartphone-powered refractions to serve the 4.5B individuals in need of vision correction. At EyeNetra, he contributed to the development of four products from inception, honed their go-to-market strategy, and architected a successful platform for global growth. Thousands of units were both sold and shipped to eye care professionals in over 90 countries within a span of 36 months. The team at EyeNetra also explored a first of its kind model for teleoptometry and spent years in deep R&D, clinical trials, regulatory approvals, and manufacturing prior to commercialization.
