Episode 70: Thabata Caruzo, Sales Manager for Latam at Scienion & Golden Gateway Partners

Dr. Thabata Caruzo is a motivated professional with academic and industry experience, where she has worked in different roles, from scientific support/product specialist to marketing analyst, technical sales specialist, and sales and operation manager, for Brazil and LATAM. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences and a Ph.D. in Science (Virology) issued by the University of São Paulo (Brazil) and a Post-Doc concluded, as an Associated Researcher, also in Virology, at UNICAMP (Brazil).

Thabata works with business development in both research and diagnostics markets, especially for molecular biology and genomics products/services, and enjoys the challenge of building up businesses from scratch with technologies that can bring more efficiency and quality for clinical labs and researchers and in the end, more development and growth for the countries in the region and a better life for their citizens. With the COVID-19 Pandemic, Thabata also started her own consulting company called TATA BOX – Specialized Consulting and a YouTube channel, LaBio Canal, to deliver scientific information to all kinds of audiences. In an era of fake news, the truth needs to be told all the time and reach as many people as possible.
